Four action-packed days at the trade fair, countless fruitful discussions, plenty of technology and even more familiar and new faces: GaLaBau 2026 in Nuremberg is now behind us – and once again it has shown why it is one of the absolute highlights of the trade fair calendar for us.

Once again this year, our stand in Hall 9 was a popular meeting point for dealers, customers, partners and everyone with a passion for professional municipal equipment. Of course, products, innovations and specific applications were a big part of it, but personal interaction was just as important to us. Catching up with familiar faces, making new contacts, talking shop or simply sitting down for a few minutes over a drink – that’s exactly what GaLaBau is all about for us.
And there was certainly plenty of that. At times, you could barely get through our stand – and our catering provided pretty convincing proof of just how busy it was: Never before have we served so many Vienna sausages at a trade fair as we did at this year’s GaLaBau. If that’s not an official trade fair KPI, we don’t know what is …
Of course, there was plenty of new technology to discover alongside the sausages. One of this year’s main focuses was our further developed winter service range. Among the highlights making their debut was the new SPR-DS E, our fully electric disc spreader featuring a simple plug-and-play connection for a wide range of carrier vehicles. We also presented our new digital control platform for winter service spreaders, which can be operated via controller or smartphone app and features GPS-based, speed-dependent spreading as well as digital job documentation.
We have also consistently developed our existing winter service solutions: the SPR-DS disc spreaders have been optimized in numerous details, our SRM-VP V-plows were presented in a completely revised version, and the SRM-SF spring-flap snow blades now feature a range of improvements.
Another key focus was our solutions for UTVs. With new implement sizes and mounting options for vehicles such as the John Deere Gator, Polaris Ranger and Kubota RTV, we demonstrated how these compact vehicles can be transformed into true year-round machines for winter service, grounds care and lawn care.
For four days, our stand was all about explaining, discussing, testing, laughing and, of course, plenty of networking. That’s exactly what a trade fair should be for us.
#allinCasino Night – Our matev Dealer Evening
Anyone who knows matev knows: when the trade fair closes for the day, we’re far from done.
Once again, our dealer evening was one of the absolute highlights of GaLaBau. Together with our dealers and partners, we headed back to Gutmann, where this year’s Casino Night was all about playing, celebrating and, most importantly, enjoying a fantastic evening together.
At the gaming tables, guests tried their luck at roulette, blackjack and Chuck-a-Luck – with plenty of fun and a healthy dose of competitive spirit. After all, there was a special prize waiting for the chip leader at the end of the evening: a casino visit including dinner for two, an overnight hotel stay and €100 worth of gaming chips.
But it wasn’t just playing hard that could pay off: the entry chips also gave guests the chance to hit the jackpot. And, of course, the right drinks were part of the experience – some of them personally prepared by the man at the top: for one evening, Georg Hemmerlein swapped the management desk for a spot behind the bar and mixed Martinis.
All the ingredients for an evening with a fantastic atmosphere, plenty of great conversations and, of course, lots of matev spirit.

After four days at the trade fair, there’s one thing left to say above all: thank you! Thank you to all our customers, dealers, partners and visitors who stopped by our stand in Hall 9. Thank you for the many inspiring conversations, the tremendous interest in our latest innovations and the great time we shared.
And, of course, a huge thank you to our entire trade fair team, who gave it their all for four days and once again made sure that the matev spirit wasn’t just something you could see – it was something you could truly feel.
